No-fault Divorce
No-fault Divorce
At Ansham White Solicitors, our Legal Advisers understand the importance of no-fault divorce and are able to provide you with professional advice on the options available to you.
In the previous system, unless you stay separated for two-years, you have to show a reason for wanting to petition for a divorce from your spouse. However, following April 2022, it is now possible to have a divorce without putting the blame on your partner with a simpler process – you would be able to petition for a divorce by only stating that the marriage has broken down.
This application can be made as either joint or sole applicants and you will need to decide which choice is right for you.
At Ansham White Solicitors, we pride ourselves on our customer focused approach. The founding Director, Shamim Ibrahim, has 20+ years of experience in dealing with family law matters. Throughout this time, she has built up and trained a team of individuals who maintain her high-quality standard of work to ensure that our clients receive professional yet personal advice throughout their matter.
Please call us today to arrange an initial fixed fee consultation and our family team will be more than happy to help. Our office is based in North Harrow which has nearby parking and good transport links. If you are calling from overseas or are unable to attend our office, we are able to conduct a video consultation via Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
