Our Core Team
Shamim qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and has vast experience working in several areas of law including Wills and Probate, Family, and Immigration.
Shamim is one of the founding members of Ansham White Solicitors. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality of legal advice to her clients. As part of her regular commitment towards pro bono work she is a member of Will Aid, Solicitors for the Elderly and other voluntary community organisations. Shamim is proficient in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.
Omair joined Ansham White Solicitors in December 2018, having previously trained at a criminal defence firm. Omair has experience within the legal industry exceeding 10 years.
Within the team at Ansham White Solicitors, Omair has a key role of dealing with all areas of law that the firm specialises in, he has particularly shown proficiency when dealing with contentious probate, Wills and family matters respectively (not exclusively), as he seeks to increase his repertoire of skills. Omair is a valued member of staff and is excellent at multi-tasking. Aside from actively dealing with file work he often trains and supervises junior staff members and trainee solicitors.
Outside of work Omair enjoys participating in and watching sports and spending time with his family. Omair is also able to communicate in Punjabi and Urdu/Hindi.
Nazmin is a Consultant Solicitor at Ansham White Solicitors, she joined the firm in 2015.
Over the years she has gained knowledge and expertise in diverse areas of law including Wills, Trusts, Probate, Civil Litigation and Family. In particular, she has a wide range of expertise in private client work dealing with contentious probate matters, estate planning and assisting executors with the administration of estates.
Within family law, Nazmin has a vast amount of experience dealing with matrimonial proceedings and children matters.
Nazmin prides herself on handling cases with sensitivity and is meticulous in her attention to detail.
Nazmin speaks fluent Bengali
After graduating with a commendation from the University of West London in 2013, Shazia has worked in multiple areas of law as a qualified solicitor, including Personal Injury, Family, Employment, Commercial leases, Litigation and Immigration. She has recently joined Ansham White Solicitors as a consultant Solicitor. Her dedication and sincerity towards her clients is the reason why many of them choose to return, also referring their family and friends for all their legal needs.
Her interests outside of the office include charity fund raising and organising events.
Shazia is fluent in Urdu and Hindi.
Upon graduating with distinction from the College of Law in 2009, Jumana joined Goldman Sachs where she worked on the trading floor providing advice on derivative transactions and securities regulations. She joined Ansham White Solicitors in 2016, making the switch from corporate law to private client work. As a keen negotiator, Jumana has a particular interest in litigation and contract disputes. Her interests outside of the office include interior design and architecture.
Jumana is proficient in Gujurati and has lived and worked in Switzerland, South Africa and the United States.
Vikas joined Ansham White as a consultant in January 2016 and has over 10 years of experience in a number of legal practice areas, in particular Civil Litigation, Wills, Probate and contractual agreements. He has also practised property law, including litigation matters arising from mortgage repossessions and landlord and tenant disputes.
Vikas previously worked in investment banking, and has sound knowledge of financial contracts and commercial loan agreements. Vikas possesses excellent communication skills and understands the importance of building and nurturing client relationships.
Outside of work, Vikas is an avid reader, enjoys travelling and is fluent in French.
